New Town. New People. New Life.

For those of you who don't know, I moved to Chicago, Illinois. I am living with my sister, Brandis, and her adorable little kiddos! I have been here for almost one week, and I am loving every second of it. I'm going to be attending school, either a semester or a full year, I don't know yet, at the Oakwood Community College, but I don't know if thats the real name of the school =]
I'm trying to get a nanny job while I'm out here, since I love kids! I think it would be so fun to work with them all day, everyday. Kind of like my old job at home, working for Rise with disabled children, which I really miss a lot! I'm hoping to "figure out who I am" while I'm out here. I want to be able to know what I want in life, how to get there, and to just learn the basic life skills and Independence.
I do miss my family back home though. And a lot of my friends, considering I don't have any out here. I don't like being away when I know my sister, Kelsi, is going through a really hard time. I feel like I just left her to deal with it on her own, which is the worse feeling I've ever felt. I hope she knows how much I love her!!
I don't know for sure when I'm moving back. Like I said, the shortest time I am here would be only a school semester, but once things start picking up, I don't know if I'm going to be able to leave! I don't like these short commitments that I keep doing... If I'm going to do something big like move to another state, I want to be in it for a while! I want to force myself to grow up, to stay put with certain things other than run from them. I need this if I want to grow.
I miss everyone of you reading this.. and thanks for taking the time to! I will try to update more often, since there is no other way to get info out of me... Ha my mom doesn't hear much from me right now.. so this will be good for her to read =]
