I guess I don't really feel the need to update this blog very often because I have my other one I try to do consistently (which isn't turning out so consistent...). But I don't feel like I have enough interesting things to talk about. I guess I could just go back to my last post and update since then.
So me and Kellen have been engaged for almost 4 months!! It seems really crazy to me though because I swear we were just sitting on my couch talking about how far away March seemed. I feel like I blinked and now I'm almost a Mrs. Granted, there have been some crazy things going on that has made time go by fast, just because I haven't been focusing on the wedding. But I only have 29 days left until I marry my best friend!!!! I made a paper chain when I had 100 days left and it just feels like 2 weeks ago that I made it. I just remember that night so vividly, I guess. It really is crazy though. It kind of hit me today how close and fast it is coming up. I thought I was ready with all the wedding planning but it turns out I still have TONS to do... But fortunately they are all little things.
Kellen and I bought a townhome! We closed on the 31st of January!! We found this place in November and had been in the process of buying it ever since we walked through it, but things kept coming up or papers weren't filled out right so it has taken over 2 months for us to actually close, when it should have only taken about one month total. The house is in Cedar Hills (doesn't that name just sound pretty =] ), which for those of you who don't know where that is, it is east of Lehi, south of Alpine in Utah Valley. I LOVE THIS HOUSE!!! Kellen and I knew we had to have this place the moment we stepped foot inside the door. We fell in love! It is so open and new, and pretty darn big too. It just felt right to get it too. It has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 car garage, and the kitchen is huge! We have spent the last 2 days moving things in, cleaning and starting to get decorating ideas. We got our couch, fridge, washer & dryer delivered today, and its amazing how big of a difference that makes in the house! It is soooo much more like a HOME now =] We are getting really excited to paint (my idea, so I'll probably be doing it alone), shop for decor, and just start our lives together as newlyweds in our first place!!! We plan on staying here for the next 5-10 years, so there will be plenty of memories made and who knows, maybe by the time we need more space, it will be really really hard to leave. I can see that happening.. I'm just in love with the place, that's all =] I'll post pictures once I get really good ones. The ones I do have (or that you might have seen on FB) are blurry and not very self explanatory, I guess you could say.
Anyways, nothing else too special going on lately.... I'm sure once I'm married I'll have more to blog about because my life will become 200000 times cooler!!!! Thanks for reading =]
