It's Been a While...

So the last thing I blogged about was my amazing Summer Bucket List! That was a while ago. Since then, I have started my job at the Radisson Airport Hotel, which I absolutely LOVE! I got a super cute, and extremely different hair cut. And I officially have a boyfriend =] But unfortunately because of some unwelcome illness I currently have lurking inside me, I am unable to work, and to check my bucket list off. In fact, I'm unable to even leave my house unless its to the Hospital!

For those who don't know, I have liver stones once again! I have been couch-bound for the past week. I couldn't tell you how many movies I've watched, or how many episodes of "Say Yes to the Dress" I've seen. I'm even excited for an ABC Family Original Movie that is being played on Sunday. Yes, I have quite the ideal life... NOT.

The last time I had these, which was April-August of '09, it seemed as though it was less painful. I was able to attend my brothers wedding, get a job, go to Delta, hang out with friends.. And maybe that time will come this time around too. I just really can't believe it's happening again. Also, another scary thing is that last time, I had this tube/drain in my tummy for 4 months! Its only been a week, and I've already been guarenteed 4-6 weeks.

I've been poked by needles 9 times since last Wednesday whether it was from IVs or drawing blood. I've had 2 procedures/surgeries since last Friday. I've been out of my house 1 time since last Wednesday, but that isn't including the short walks I've been on.

All in all, this thing sucks.

However, I have been so blessed with all the amazing people in my life. They include my family, boyfriend, friends, and my work family. My mom and dad have had to leave work early to sit with me at the hospital while we wait 4 hours for them to even take me back to start my surgery. My mom even stayed home from Delta to take care of me! Now THAT is love!! And everyone else in my family have been so kind by doing small things for me and just asking if I need anything.

My boyfriend, Kellen, has been so amazing!!!! He has come to my house everyday since this whole thing started. That might not seem so amazing to you, but when all I can do is sit on the couch and watch TV or movies, it means so much to me when Kellen comes over just to sit by my side and hold my hand, day after day! He is my best friend!

I'm a little discouraged that this "illness" has come back, but I'm also grateful for it. It has taught me a lot in the past week. It has reminded me of patience, while humbling myself. Over all, its been a horrible, much needed struggle.

My new, daring hair cut!

This is a typical sunday drive!!
